Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality inspections, First Article Inspections (FAI), calibration programs, and audit activities to ensure product conformity and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and aerospace industry standards.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), APQP, and cross-functional projects to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Investigate quality issues, resolve customer complaints, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor quality KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to strengthen quality processes, reduce defects, and promote a culture of quality excellence.

Requirements

Prefer those:

  • Experience in the aerospace industry is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading AS9100 internal audits and QMS management, including internal audit planning, execution, management review meetings, and certification body audit management, is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience with APQP and PPAP activities is preferred.
  • Experience leading APQP activities for new projects is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct customer complaint and claim management is preferred.
