Job Title: Senior/Software Manager (Embedded)

Location: Batangas, Philippines

We are partnering with a global engineering and technology leader seeking a Senior Software Manager responsible for leading a large-scale engineering team and driving organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an embedded software engineering team

• Drive execution, delivery performance, and engineering accountability across teams

• Provide technical and operational leadership for embedded software development programs

• Improve development processes, team efficiency, and delivery predictability

• Remove organizational and technical roadblocks affecting delivery timelines

• Act as the primary interface between local engineering teams and regional leadership (including stakeholders in Singapore)

• Lead cultural and organizational transformation initiatives within the organization

• Partner closely with hardware and software leadership to align product and engineering priorities

• Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of solid people management experience, with a strong background in embedded software development (C/C++, microcontrollers, or RTOS)

• Experience in product ownership or product management

• Proven experience managing large engineering teams (80+ engineers)

• Strong understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies

• Demonstrated experience improving engineering delivery, processes, and organizational performance

• Experience working in fast-paced or startup-like environments is preferred
