The role
We are looking for an Organic Search Specialist to join the team.blue Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE), on a temporary contractor assignment. You will own SEO/GEO for the BE market, support SEO/GEO for our NL brands, and contribute to broader Organic Search projects run by the CoE across our brands and markets.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to:

  • Supporting the performance and ramp-up of GEO

  • Partner with the local team to define and coordinate the SEO roadmap for the BE market.

  • Support our NL senior specialist with SEO/GEO optimization for the NL market.

  • Produce technical audits and recommendations to ensure search engines can effectively crawl and index our content.

  • Work with stakeholders to execute initiatives that increase visibility, traffic, and conversions originating from SEO and LLMs.

  • Stay on top of the latest Organic Search industry developments and translate them into new project opportunities.

  • Act as part of the central organic search team, sharing knowledge and learnings to help elevate the team's overall SEO skillset.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally in an international environment, defining and implementing on- and off-page SEO strategies.

  • Strong working knowledge across all aspects of SEO: technical, content, and outreach.

  • Experience with GEO/LLM optimization (AI Overviews, answer engines, etc.) is a strong plus.

  • Fluent in English and Dutch/Flemish; An additional European language is a strong plus.

  • Proven track record of success in a similar SEO role.

  • Hands-on experience with Semrush / Semrush Enterprise.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with both local and cross-brand teams.
