About This Role

We are seeking a Series Producer with advanced knowledge of video podcast structure, recording, and editing to lead the daily production of our high-performing flagship series. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, creative professional with 5+ years of experience who can independently manage the end-to-end production of several shows per week. This role requires the ability to prepare thoughtful, well-researched rundowns, exceed industry quality standards, and edit complex episodes while troubleshooting technical issues when necessary. A key responsibility includes creatively improving shows through strategic segment development and effective coaching of hosts. The Series Producer works autonomously in day-to-day production and requires minimal creative oversight, consistently delivering polished, engaging content that aligns with our brand and audience expectations. The candidate will report into the Head of Series, UK and will be expected to contribute fully in planning and ideation across the department.

This role will be based in London and cannot be remote. You would need to be in ideally 4 days per week as the show is recording Mon - Thurs.

Show & Production Leadership:

Lead the full lifecycle of daily episodes—from planning and recording to post-production and delivery.

Oversee production logistics, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure smooth and timely execution.

Maintain editorial standards and contribute strategic direction in collaboration with leadership.

Editorial & Segment Development:

Create detailed rundowns that reflect a clear narrative arc, audience relevance, and creative polish.

Research and pitch timely, engaging topics and original segment ideas based on trends and audience insights.

Shape compelling conversations and coach hosts to improve delivery and show performance.

Audio/Video Editing & Quality Control:

Oversee and execute editing of audio and video episodes for RSS feeds, YouTube, and social channels.

Ensure consistent, high-quality sound and visual presentation across all content.

Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain high production standards.

Digital Media & Audience Engagement:

Partner with social and audience engagement teams to tailor content for cross-platform distribution.

Optimize clips for YouTube and social, including titling, thumbnail selection, and SEO best practices.

Monitor performance analytics to refine content strategy and grow the audience.

Team Collaboration & Communication:

Act as the central hub between talent, editorial, and production staff to maintain alignment.

Mentor junior producers and freelancers, providing editorial and technical guidance.

Communicate proactively to ensure timely feedback, revisions, and project updates.

5+ years of professional experience in producing formats, including audio/video editing and show development.

Proficient in tools such as Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Riverside, and Streamyard.

Strong editorial judgment, research skills, and storytelling instincts.

Familiarity with YouTube algorithms, podcast distribution, and social media trends.

Proven ability to lead complex productions and collaborate across teams.

Deep passion for and fluency in the sports media landscape, in particular Premier League football.

Experience managing talent and coaching hosts to deliver compelling on-air performances.

Track record of producing content that drives audience growth and engagement.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
