Position Summary

  • The Server Assistant (Runner/Busser) supports the Service team by helping maintain an organized, welcoming dining room and smooth service throughout each shift. This role assists with beverage service, food delivery, table clearing, and end-of-day cleaning while working closely with servers and kitchen team members to ensure guests are well cared for.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and contribute to a positive dining room atmosphere.
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables accurately and efficiently.
  • Clear, reset, and maintain tables to support steady dining room flow.
  • Assist with beverage service, including refilling water and other non-alcoholic beverages as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, wait stations, and service areas.
  • Stock and maintain server stations with glassware, utensils, linens, and other necessary supplies.
  • Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen team members to support coordinated service.
  • Remain attentive to guest needs and communicate questions or concerns to leadership when appropriate.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including end-of-day cleaning and resetting of dining areas.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards at all times.
  • Support overall Food & Beverage operations by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
  • Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old by the first day of employment.
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
  • Clear and respectful communication skills.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to take direction.
  • Ability to stay organized and responsive during busy service periods.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
  • Positive attitude with a professional demeanor.
