Shift Lead (Jimmy Johns- Decatur & Post)

Jimmy John’s is hiring energetic and reliable Shift Leads to help lead our fast-paced restaurant team! In this role, you will support daily operations, coach team members, and help ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service and accurate orders
• Help maintain Jimmy John’s standards for food quality, speed, and cleanliness
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift operations
• Train and coach team members on company procedures and service expectations
• Delegate tasks and help maintain productivity during busy periods
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
• Help maintain inventory, stocking, and overall restaurant organization
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently
• Support management with daily operational goals and team development

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed
