Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Safety Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating ** accurate and compliant site safety plans** in accordance with the ** New York City Building Code . This role requires proficiency in ** AutoCAD and Revit (preferred) and a strong understanding of ** construction safety regulations **.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed site safety plans that comply with NYC Building Code and Local Law 81 of 2017.
• Interpret and apply site safety supervision requirements for construction projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and safety managers to ensure compliance with city regulations.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to draft site safety plans, including ** fire safety, emergency exits, and hazard mitigation strategies **.
• Conduct site assessments to identify potential safety risks and propose solutions.
• Maintain documentation and records for regulatory compliance and project approvals.
• Stay updated on NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in drafting site safety plans for construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NYC Building Code, Local Law 81, and site safety supervision requirements.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams and regulatory agencies.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
