Job Summary

•Provide face-to-face technical support for employees at the office or client site.

•Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals.

•Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT hardware and software.

•Support Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, VPN, email, collaboration tools, and business applications.

•Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, and basic switching problems.

•Assist with user onboarding, offboarding, device setup, account access, and equipment handover.

•Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, projectors, Teams/Zoom rooms, and AV equipment.

•Escalate complex issues to infrastructure, network, security, or application teams when required.

•Maintain accurate ticket updates, asset records, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.

•Manage local IT inventory, including laptops, accessories, spare equipment, and consumables.

•Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and service visits.

•Support IT projects such as office moves, device refreshes, software rollouts, and network upgrades.

•Follow IT security policies, access control procedures, and data protection standards.

•Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.

Required Skills and Qualifications

•Experience in onsite IT support, desktop support, field support, or service desk support.

•Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems; macOS experience is a plus.

•Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and common office applications.

•Good understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.

•Ability to troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.

•Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, Zendesk, or similar.

•Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support requests.

•Good documentation and follow-up skills.

•Update asset ownership, location, status, warranty, serial number, and configuration details.

•Coordinate hardware repairs, warranty claims, replacements, and vendor returns.

•Support secure disposal, recycling, resale, or destruction of retired equipment.

•Experience maintaining asset records in ITSM, CMDB

•Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

Preferred Certifications

•Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools.

•Experience with asset management and IT inventory processes.

•Knowledge of ITIL service management practices.

•Basic understanding of cybersecurity controls, MFA, endpoint protection, and patching.

•Experience supporting meeting room and AV systems.

•Ability to support VIP users or executive-level stakeholders.
