SMART Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART repairs, including paintwork, light filling and minor dent removal
• Refurbish and repair alloy wheels
• Prepare, mask, paint, lacquer, polish and finish vehicles to a high standard
• Inspect vehicles and identify any additional repair work required
• Work efficiently to meet turnaround times without compromising on quality
• Accurately record completed work and repair times
• Take care of vehicles while they are in the Bodyshop
• Keep your work area clean, organised and compliant with health & safety requirements
• Support the wider team with additional duties when required

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• At least 3 years' SMART Repair experience
• Glass repair, interior trim and PDR experience is preferred but not essential
• Strong knowledge of SMART repair techniques and alloy wheel refurbishment
• Experience in paint mixing, preparation, masking, painting and machine polishing
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining excellent standards
• A keen eye for detail and pride in producing a high-quality finish
• A flexible, positive and proactive approach
• A collaborative and organised approach to tasks
• Confidence working independently and using your own initiative
• A full UK driving licence
