What will your role be? 

We are looking for a SOC & SIEM Specialist to perform the following activities: 

• Define and maintain the SOC governance framework, policies, standards and procedures.
• Define minimum requirements for security monitoring, detection and logging across critical systems.
• Govern the SIEM strategy and security log collection, including retention, integrity and protection requirements.
• Define and monitor security detection use cases and SOC/SIEM coverage of critical assets.
• Establish and monitor detection KPIs/KRIs, including MTTD, MTTA, alert volume, false positive rate and detection coverage.
• Oversee SOC/MSSP performance and manage escalation processes towards Incident Response and Crisis Management.
• Ensure SOC/SIEM capabilities are aligned with NIS2 requirements and contribute to NIS2 gap assessments and remediation plans.
• Coordinate with IT, Infrastructure, Cloud, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit teams.
• Support audits, maintain compliance evidence and contribute to cyber resilience and incident response exercises.
• Report regularly to the CISO and monitor regulatory developments.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies 

• 5+ years of experience in SOC, SIEM, detection engineering or cybersecurity governance.
• Strong understanding of SOC architectures and security monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions, particularly Splunk; knowledge of XDR/SOAR is a plus.
• Good knowledge of log- and event-based detection and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Good understanding of Incident Response processes.
• Experience in SOC/MSSP governance and vendor management.
• Knowledge of NIS2 and ISO 27001.
• Ability to communicate effectively with highly technical SOC teams while maintaining a governance-oriented approach.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Splunk or MITRE ATT&CK are considered a plus.
