You will discover, execute and publish engaging social content focusing on lifestyle and news, monitor and analyse performance metrics, and work closely with editorial and commercial teams. Key responsibilities
● Capture and edit short and long form video content for all social media channels.
● Write captions and scripts for social media posts that resonate with our target audience.
● Ensure daily content goals are met, and content is posted quickly and accurately.
● Discover new openings, trending content, and stay updated on new attractions in and around Dubai. Ensure ALL content reflects overall content / editorial strategy.
● Regularly monitor user behaviours and algorithm changes, and use those learnings to inform future planning.
● Plan, keep and execute a social media calendar.
● Provide weekly reports on performance, regularly analysing and refining approaches for best results.
● Stay up-to-date with happenings in Dubai, social media trends, features, and best practices.

What we're looking for in a candidate
● Confidence going out and about, shooting and editing videos on smartphones.
● Someone with 2-3 years of experience in the media field or similar.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
● Ambitious and a natural optimist.
● Driven by the opportunity to have new experiences and learn new skills.
● Superb organisational and communication skills.
● Excellent grasp of social trends and best practices.
● Ability to think outside the box when developing content ideas.
● Experience across a wide range of social media platforms and reporting.
● Ability to self-supervise and meet deadlines.
● Attend events during out-of-office hours.
● Languages: Fluent in spoken English, Arabic a plus.
