Social Media Specialist (Women Building Peace)

The Women Building Peace social media contractor serves as the lead voice behind our social media platforms, managing daily engagement, content strategy, and cross-team coordination. This position oversees the development and execution of high-impact content, particularly on Instagram, bringing peacebuilding and advocacy into everyday conversations through stories, reels, graphics, and community interaction. Additionally, this role supports growth and works to connect with our audience, facilitating meaningful engagement.

You will report to the WBP program director and collaborate closely to ensure strict messaging alignment. As a tactical leader for our digital presence, you must have proven experience managing and growing brand channels across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. You are a digital native who knows how to keep digital operations smooth, utilizing analytics to drive connection and maintaining an energetic, structured project workflow to help our community expand its reach.
