Software Developer - AI & Embedded Systems for Automotive

We are seeking a Software Developer to design and implement AI-driven solutions and embedded communication systems for advanced manufacturing environments. This role involves developing proof-of-concept applications, backend services, and deploying local AI models to optimize production workflows. Responsibilities will include:

Develop and integrate software components for in-cab communication and modular vehicle systems.

Design solution architecture documents including context, component, and sequence diagrams.

Deliver incremental software builds with high unit-test coverage.

Deploy and benchmark local LLM packages (e.g., Llama-based models) for low-latency inference.

Create operational runbooks and SOPs for installation, backup, and patching.

Conduct pilot readiness reviews and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Ensure compliance with usability, functionality, and data privacy standards.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++, JavaScript, and containerization (Docker).

• Experience with AI/ML model deployment and performance benchmarking.

• Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to produce technical documentation and architectural diagrams.

• Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance in software development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automotive or manufacturing systems.

• Understanding of MQTT or similar messaging protocols.

• Exposure to local LLM deployment and inference optimization.
