As a Java Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the Frameworks team's software using the Java programming language. You'll collaborate with other developers, product owners and clients to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions in an AWS Cloud solution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Landmark Java Framework software
- Code and test Java software
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
- Contribute to technical decisions that balance performance, stability, and maintainability
- Triage and resolve issues with guidance as needed
- Debug issues and code involving multiple stakeholders and technologies
- Development Processes (Daily Team Collaboration, Planning, Backlog Refinement, Demos)
- Deliver solutions that improve developer and customer experience and productivity
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience implementing Java-based solutions that contribute to developer productivity and software quality
- Java programming principles including test-driven development and debugging experience
- Experience leveraging Java to build reliable and efficient systems that support business processes and financial operations
- Familiarity with designing and consuming REST APIs / service-oriented or microservice architectures
