Software Engineering Internship, I&D Airport - Spring 2027

Would you like to challenge your software knowledge in a global company, to exchange ideas with skilled colleagues and work with cloud-native technologies? We are looking for interns to join our R&D, Airport-department in BEUMER Group to help develop software solutions for airport customers around the world.

One team
In our R&D department we shape the future of automation. We develop new products, which contains advanced software together with mechanical and electrical components. As an intern in, you will be part of a cross-functional team where you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle together with your team members. Your tasks could be:

• Work on cutting-edge innovation projects in software engineering.
• Develop and test new concepts to accelerate our product development.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers in a hands-on learning environment.
• Experiment with emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Gain real industry experience in a global company.

We are not set for something specific, so whether you are interested in frontend or backend, we can sure find something for you to look into.

You will be part of the team on equal terms with the rest of your colleagues and as such be involved in the development process.

You will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will ensure you have the support and tools and knowledge you need to get started, and who will be there to support you throughout the internship.

You will also have the opportunity to spend time with our interns from across the business, sharing your knowledge, experience and social event.

The internship is paid and lasts appr. 5 months - the exact period will be agreed with your manager. And if both parties agree, it is possible to continue as student worker after the internship.
