About the Role
As a Software Licensing Advisor with Cyclone, you will be a part of a small team managing renewals, orders, and quotes for Cyclone on behalf of University of Canterbury who we are contracted by to provide this service. The primary focus of this role is to act as the initial point of contact for all basic and routine activities relating to software and respond to service requests on behalf of the Software Licensing Team.
The role of the Software Licensing Administration will be part of a team who are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers at the University of Canterbury. Through your knowledge and expertise in this complex field you will deliver exceptional service to our valued customers by answering their day-to-day licensing requirements while managing their expectations and clearly explaining what is realistically possible or not.
What You'll Do:
- Procuring Software on behalf of University of Canterbury
- Assisting the customers technicians with sourcing updated software and licenses for updated images
- Maintain a good, up to date knowledge on new technologies and how they can be applied to existing and new customers
- Receiving and processing enquiries and requests pertaining to software including pre-sales advice and existing order management including ETA’s Sourcing the best possible options
- Storing of relevant information including serials, media and download information
What You'll Bring:
- Experience within the customer service or sales industry
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent relationship management skills and experience
- Strong planning, organising and administration skills
- Proficiency when working with spreadsheets, email, web and other communication media
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
