Software Quality Engineer (Mobile and Web Testing)

iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

As a Quality Engineer you are responsible for creating test plans for new features and releases, testing features as soon as developers have them ready, verifying bug fixes and performing regression testing on releases.

You work closely with the developers for the mobile app development scrum team, doing your test planning concurrently with new features being developed in true agile fashion.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for new feature testing and bug fix verification for mobile and/or web applications.
• Write clear and detailed bug reports, participate in bug discussions and follow them to resolution.
• Write clear test cases, test plans and documentation.
• Work in an agile rapid development environment where effective communication is paramount.

Qualifications

• MSc in CS, EE or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience in front-end web application and mobile application testing.
• Browser testing
• Clear communication (both verbal and written English) is a must.

NICE TO HAVE ( BUT NOT MANDATORY )

• Programming skills in Java, C# or other OO language.
• Experience in Selenium or Appium test automation.
• Experience in CRM, Force.com and the SalesForce1 platform.
• Experience in testing of mobile applications, preferably on both iOSand Android.
