Solar Sales Engineer Trainee

As a **Solar Sales Engineer Trainee , you will support the development of photovoltaic self‑consumption solutions, contributing to the ** technical design, costing, and preparation of commercial proposals for a diversified portfolio of PV projects.

You will work closely with the Commercial Engineering team, gaining exposure to both technical and commercial aspects of solar projects, while supporting internal processes, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic renewable energy environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of energy consumption and the dimensioning of photovoltaic production solutions for self‑consumption projects;
• Assist in the design of photovoltaic systems, including rooftop, ground‑mounted, carport and other PV configurations;
• Support the preparation of project budgets through Bills of Quantities (BoQs);
• Assist in procurement-related activities linked to BoQ items;
• Contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals, including technical documentation aligned with client requirements;
• Support reporting and information flow in accordance with management guidelines;
• Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives and an organisational culture focused on operational excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Renewable Energy Engineering or other relevant engineering field;
• Previous professional experience is not required;
• Basic knowledge of **Microsoft 365 **, particularly ** Excel and PowerPoint **;
• Strong sense of responsibility, organisation, and attention to detail;
• Proactive, dynamic profile with the ability to work in a team environment;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Interest in developing a career at the intersection of engineering and commercial activities within the renewable energy sector.
