Special Assistant

SUMMARY

The Special Assistant plays a strategic role in overseeing complex projects and initiatives, providing high-level technical guidance, and shaping policy and program development. Engages in proactive risk analysis, delivering comprehensive strategies to fortify public health frameworks and outcomes.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Oversees and guides complex data analysis projects, offering expert recommendations.

Leads development of strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement efforts.

Innovates policy development, providing high-level technical assistance and strategic insights.

Spearheads coordination and planning of large-scale conferences and international collaborations.

Mentors junior analysts in data collection techniques and analytical methods.

Delivers polished presentations and comprehensive briefing memos for executive leaders.

Leverages expert-level skills in Microsoft Office for strategic data management and dissemination.

Uses sophisticated problem-solving abilities to address challenges in public health initiatives.

Collaborates with executive leadership to inform decision-making processes and policy development.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years in a public health setting, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

The estimated pay range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
