We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Internal Medicine physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic care for adult patients, managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform comprehensive medical assessments, physical examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient management.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, endocrine conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and infectious diseases.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and lifestyle counseling to patients.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams when referrals or advanced interventions are required.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient cases while ensuring continuity of care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in on-call duties as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, infection control protocols, and international clinical guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
• Mentor junior physicians and contribute to departmental educational programs when appropriate.

Requirements

Qualifications

• MD, DNB, Arab Board, or equivalent qualification in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid DoH Abu Dhabi License or DoH Eligibility Letter as a Specialist Internal Medicine physician.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience in Internal Medicine.
• Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.
