Specialist, Quality Assurance

Work location: The Vertical Business Suite, Bangsar South., Malaysia

Working time: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, work at the office 100%

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and report defects with clear documentation.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and end-to-end testing.

• Analyze complex software systems to identify root causes of issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Agile/Scrum development process.

• Prepare and deliver detailed reports on testing progress, defect status, and test coverage.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance QA effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2 – 5 years of professional experience in software testing or a similar QA role.

• Proven experience in Automate & manual testing for web, mobile, and API platforms.

• Proven experience in preparing coding for automation test in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good command of English communication, both written and verbal.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

• Experience with Playwright or Cypress is an advantage.

• Domain knowledge in finance, healthcare, or e-commerce is a plus.
