Job Description:

The Specialty Bankeris responsible forthe controlling and accounting transactions for the main bank and otherduties asassigned by management. Main Bankers provide excellent customer service to team members and vendors in all situations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Opens check-cashing cards (requires making credit inquiries).

  • Cashes checks, cashier checks, coins, and vouchers for guests and team members.

  • Handleslarge amountsof money, accounting for total funds received throughout the day and at the end of each day.

  • Exchanges foreign currency, cashcoin,exchanges coinor tokens for customers.

  • Maintains accountability over acashierdrawer.

  • Performs all duties in a confidential manner.

  • Responsible for the impress bank issued.  Perform guest and in-house monetary transactions.

  • Balance and issue impressbankto Floor Attendants, F&B, and team members.

  • Enter guest transactions into the computer system accurately.

  • Prepare paperwork, balancesheetsand documentsin accordance withCompany policy and procedures, and within the guidelines of the Finance Dept.

  • Signs all documents legibly.

  • Transfer cash,coinsand checks between cages and/or departments inan accurateand efficient manner.

  • Strictly adhere to department policies and proceduresin order tomaintainintegrity of the Cage operation. Applyaccuratetransaction and balancing practices.

  • Participate in the daily cage reconciliation process.

  • Comply withFederal Title 31 procedures.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifyingappropriate managersof concerns and observations.

  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to supervisors and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Attend andparticipatein meetings, completing follow-up asassigned;

  • Perform work regularly and predictably.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, along with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Must have one (1) year of cage,bankingand/or cashiering experience.

SKILLS

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal,oraland written communication skills.

  • Meticulous,organizedandaccurate

  • Extreme confidentiality.

  • Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and applications.

  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Analyze and think about howpossible solutionsimpact on the entire operation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to walk distances.

  • Ability to lift 30 to 40 lbs.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee isfrequentlyrequired to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms,talkor hear; and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus.

  • The Casino environment is hectic,fast-pacedand often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factorsincluding, butnot limited to excessive noise and constant exposure togeneralpublic.
