Specialty Finisher

Dakota Kitchen and Bath is looking to add an Experienced Specialty Finisher to our team.

This position requires at least 1 year of relevant experience in: glazing, toning and applying top coat to cabinets.

To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function:

• Apply coatings, such as paint, glaze, or lacquer, to protect or decorate surfaces, using spray guns or brushes.
• Examine finished surfaces of pieces to verify conformance to specifications and retouch any defective areas.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment using solvents, brushes, and rags.
• Read job plans and inspect pieces to determine work procedures and materials required.
• Clean surfaces of pieces in preparation for coating, using sandpaper, spackle, tack cloths, etc.
• Place coated pieces in ovens or dryers for specified times to dry or harden finishes.
