Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and evidence-based practices
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions in accordance with established plans of care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation (evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries)
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, payer, and accreditation requirements
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives

- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Expressive and receptive language disorders
- Cognitive-communication deficits (e.g., memory, attention, problem-solving)
- Voice and resonance disorders
- Fluency disorders (e.g., stuttering)
- Dysphagia (swallowing disorders)
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred (or Clinical Fellowship candidate considered)
