Position Details:

  • Location: Puyallup, WA
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Hourly Rate: $45 – $50/hour (DOE)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, OT, physicians, and nursing
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and safe swallowing practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Medicare
  • Supervise CFYs and support staff in accordance with state and facility regulations

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Washington State SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CF eligibility
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable personal transportation
  • Skilled nursing facility or geriatric experience preferred
  • Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills
