SQL Developer

Primary Responsibilities

• Pull, validate, and analyze data for ad-hoc business requests and strategic initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into SQL queries, reports, and analytical outputs.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Identify relationships between tables and data sources within complex database environments.
• Investigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate findings.
• Support reporting, dashboard development, and ongoing analytics initiatives.
• Document business logic, data definitions, and analytical processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development and data analytics experience.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, temporary tables, subqueries, window functions, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and table relationships.
• Experience working with large, complex databases and limited documentation.
• Ability to independently determine data requirements and develop solutions to answer business questions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new business processes and data structures quickly.
