The client is looking for an LA-based Illustrator/Designer to join their in-house creative team, supporting social-first content. This is a hybrid creative role for someone who is a strong illustrator and who can also execute clean, on-brand design work built for fast-moving social platforms. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of experience and a portfolio that clearly shows both illustration and design range.

What You'll Do

• Create original illustration and design work for social-first campaigns and organic/paid content
• Translate brand concepts and briefs into scroll-stopping visual content tailored to platform (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with copywriters, art directors, and creative leads in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Flex illustration style across varying campaign tones, cultural moments, and content series
• Bring fresh visual ideas to the table and help push the creative bar on social
• Incorporate motion or animation into content where it strengthens the work (not required, but a strong plus)

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience as an Illustrator, Designer, or hybrid Illustrator/Designer
• Based in the Los Angeles area
• A portfolio that clearly and prominently features illustration work- not just design or layout- with a distinct, versatile style
• Strong social-first instincts and a clear understanding of what resonates and performs across platforms
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Experience with, or genuine interest in, AI tools as part of the creative process is a plus
• Animation/motion design experience is a plus
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative in-house environment with quick turnarounds
