At Claravine we help large organizations solve difficult data consistency and accuracy problems, often within their marketing groups. We do this through The Data Standards Cloud, a web SaaS product that enables customers to set their own data standards and provide a way for their teams to validate their data.

We Are Hiring

Claravine is hiring an experienced, self-starting, and results-oriented Senior Frontend Engineer to support the team in building the user interface and ensuring overall user accessibility. Frontend Engineers develop and maintain frontend software applications for our product(s). Successful members of our engineering team are results-focused, highly collaborative team members, who are not afraid to challenge the status-quo, but are also able to check their ego at the door and listen to other perspectives.

What You’ll Do

• Write functional React, semantic HTML, and responsive CSS
• Plan, collaborate, and deliver enterprise frontend software solutions with a cross functional team
• Participate in the UI/UX design process with engineers, product managers, and designers
• Write automated tests using React Testing Library, Playwright, and others
• Collaborate on existing and new coding standards

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience building complex scalable frontend applications, preferably in a B2B SaaS startup environment
• 3+ years or equivalent experience with React, ideally with proficiency in Typescript
• In-depth understanding and practical application of React concepts, including React Hooks (useCallback, useMemo, useReducer), rendering lifecycle hooks (useEffect), and styled components.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize performance for large datasets using Chrome Performance Developer Tools.
• Deep HTML and CSS experience with an attention to detail and strong UI/UX foundational knowledge
  • Responsive design, including Flexbox
  • Design and usability best practices
  • Accessibility standards
• Building design systems as a component architecture
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, with an enthusiastic attitude to support and resolve customer problems
• Foundational experience with various JavaScript testing libraries
• Proficiency in the English language at B2 to C1 level, both written and verbal
