This senior procurement role will lead global cost strategy and savings initiatives across assigned hard-home categories.
You’ll shape commercial strategies that balance exceptional product quality, competitive pricing, supply continuity, and sustainability considerations.
The role combines strategic procurement leadership with hands-on expertise in commodity costing, clean-sheet analysis, RFPs, manufacturing efficiency, and upstream sourcing.
You’ll work directly with international manufacturing partners, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and cross-functional teams across merchandising, materials, production, and technology.
A major focus will be creating transparent cost structures and delivering meaningful product-cost reductions while building scalable procurement processes.
You’ll also explore innovative value-creation opportunities, including supply-chain verticalization, volume consolidation, and commodity strategies.
This is an opportunity to influence global sourcing strategy in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where technology and AI are used to improve procurement capabilities.

Accountabilities

  • Define and execute category-level procurement strategies, commercial roadmaps, and vendor distribution plans aligned with business growth and margin objectives.

  • Establish short- and long-term procurement targets while protecting product quality, supply continuity, and relevant ESG considerations.

  • Drive significant product-cost reductions through rigorous analysis, negotiation, supplier competition, and scalable procurement frameworks.

  • Partner with technology teams to integrate procurement capabilities, processes, and playbooks into vendor-management and product-catalog tools.

  • Design and lead competitive, end-to-end RFP processes, from supplier identification and bidding through negotiation, evaluation, and award.

  • Develop repeatable negotiation frameworks that deliver immediate savings while strengthening long-term category maturity and competitive advantage.

  • Develop AI-enabled tools and agents to systematize RFP execution and support scenario analysis.

  • Build and apply component-level clean sheets to improve pricing transparency and support cost negotiations and buy-plan approvals.

  • Review buy plans, validate category costing, and ensure alignment with company margin targets.

  • Partner with material sourcing teams to secure transparent and competitive pricing from key material suppliers and optimize upstream input costs.

  • Negotiate launch costing and establish structured schedules for renegotiation as products reach scale or defined cost-review triggers.

  • Provide achievable scale-costing targets to merchandising and product teams to support commercial planning and product development.

  • Collaborate with material managers, sourcing teams, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to incorporate material benefits into finished-goods costing.

  • Integrate upstream material availability and cost considerations into product design and development cycles.

  • Identify opportunities to reshape the supply chain and create additional financial value through verticalization, volume consolidation, and strategic supplier partnerships.

  • Explore innovative approaches to managing critical commodities and materials, including opportunities related to market-making, direct sourcing, and price-risk management.

  • Requirements

    • 12–15 years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within consumer goods, retail, or a closely related environment.

    • Proven track record managing competitive RFP processes with international manufacturing partners.

    • Hands-on expertise developing and using clean-sheet costing models for supplier negotiations and cost optimization.

    • Strong understanding of commodity costing, manufacturing efficiency, consumption, cost and manufacturing excellence, raw-material availability, and supply-market dynamics.

    • Demonstrated ability to negotiate transparent and competitive commercial terms while maintaining appropriate quality and supply standards.

    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with confidence using data to evaluate costs, scenarios, supplier performance, and business opportunities.

    • Experience partnering cross-functionally with merchandising, materials, production, sourcing, and technology teams.

    • Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute detailed procurement initiatives hands-on.

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder-management, and relationship-building skills.

    • Ability to identify unconventional opportunities for supply-chain optimization and develop practical strategies to capture new sources of value.

    • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment with significant ownership and accountability.

    • Benefits

      • Base salary range of $164,000–$240,000 USD, with the final offer varying based on experience and location.
