Sr. Mechanical Engineer

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical engineering aspects of our construction and infrastructure projects. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising mechanical systems to ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project requirements. This role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and coordination with contractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Lead the mechanical installation and commissioning activities on-site to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate mechanical systems within the overall project.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to monitor the progress and quality of mechanical works.
• Identify and resolve mechanical engineering issues, providing technical guidance to contractors and project teams.
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing material submittals and liaising with suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and progress updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Proficient in mechanical design software and engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s codes, standards, and regulations is preferred.
