Staff Engineer, Mainframe (Natural-Adabas)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 6+ years
• Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe with Natural-Adabas development and JCL
• Strong experience in Natural and Adabas technologies
• Ability to engage effectively with customers and business stakeholders
• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting technical and business requirements
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective and scalable technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of application development and technical solution design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical and business team.
•  Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, maintain, and support applications using Natural-Adabas technologies
• Engage with customers to understand business needs, technical requirements, and application challenges
• Gather and analyze both technical and business requirements
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective technical solution
• Participate in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders
• Analyze existing applications and identify opportunities for improvement and optimizatio
• Design, develop, test, implement, and support Natural-Adabas solution
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions within defined timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solution
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to solution design and implementation
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements, technical standards, and quality expectations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
