Staff Experience Designer

AI Summary

Staff Experience Designer responsible for system-level design across Veo’s ecosystem, unifying flows, crafting cohesive product journeys, and driving conversion and retention through data-informed design.

About this role

Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.

But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We’re a diverse group of innovative thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers who believe in delivering an incredible product—and having fun while doing it.

The Opportunity

Join Veo as a Staff Experience Designer and lead the charge in elevating our ecosystem. Based in Copenhagen, you’ll partner with product managers and engineers to design the seamless, cross-platform experience that unites our ecosystem and empowers sports teams.

You will be a strategic thinker capable of seeing the invisible threads connecting a user’s first interaction to lasting habit formation. We are looking for someone to move beyond individual touchpoints and guide a cohesive product journey.

You will partner deeply with multiple teams to unify flows into a seamless narrative, ensuring that our emails, notifications, and core product features work in harmony.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the friction-hunter. You will identify fragmentation in user flows and smooth them into coherent narratives, ensuring that a user’s experience feels effortless from the first click to daily habit.
  • Ground decisions in research to tackle complex interfaces, making them accessible and intuitive for everyone, from new onboards to long-standing power users.
  • Embrace the cutting edge of design operations. You will use emerging tools to bypass traditional bottlenecks, validate ideas rapidly, and ship value faster.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to align user insight, technical feasibility, and business impact that clearly articulates the ‘why’ behind decisions to influence change.
  • What You Could Bring

  • You are at a staff level, with a portfolio that demonstrates system-level thinking. You zoom out to see the whole system, understanding that a great user experience happens just as much in a push notification as on a website.
  • You have a track record of optimizing funnels. You understand the data behind the design and have learned valuable lessons from past experiments to drive significant wins in conversion and retention.
  • You are self-sufficient in gathering insights and translating ambiguity into clear, actionable design strategies.
  • You are a skilled communicator who can synthesize complex needs, build bridges with stakeholders and teams, and sympathize with their constraints while advocating effectively for the user.
  • You treat design as a fluid, evolving discipline, and are leveraging AI tools to automate the mundane and rapidly build prototypes to focus on high-impact validation and creative problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
