About this role

Overview

The Staff Research Scientist will work in a highly productive and collaborative research environment. Projects will generally focus on gene regulatory (epigenetic) mechanisms activated by early-life experiences, including stress and exercise, that influence brain development and function throughout the lifespan. The incumbent will apply knowledge of cellular and molecular biology, large-dataset data pipelines, stress neurobiology, and developmental neuroscience; conduct research with a high degree of independence; participate in experimental design; analyze data; and contribute to scientific manuscripts and grant proposals.

Responsibilities

1. Perform experiments, analyze data, formulate conclusions, and create appropriate statistical visualizations, including graphs and charts, to report research and laboratory results.2. Independently process scientific data and develop and deliver presentations of research findings.3.
