As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the frontend technology direction for our investing platforms. You’ll work alongside engineers, designers and product teams to deliver scalable, high-quality experiences while helping define technical strategy and engineering standards across the team.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will:

• Lead frontend architecture and technical direction across large-scale React and TypeScript applications
• Design and evolve modern frontend solutions, including micro-frontend architectures and scalable application boundaries
• Champion engineering practices across performance, accessibility, observability, testing, security and maintainability
• Partner with product, design and engineering teams to create exceptional customer experiences
• Take ownership of solutions from design through to production, supporting quality, resilience and scalability
• Mentor and support engineers, share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence
• Guide pragmatic technical decision-making and help solve complex engineering challenges
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of developer experience, tooling and delivery practices

You bring strong React and TypeScript experience, a collaborative approach to software development and a commitment to continuously improving engineering practices. You enjoy working across disciplines, sharing knowledge and helping teams deliver scalable, reliable and customer-focused solutions.

You will bring:

• Significant experience building scalable applications using React and TypeScript
• Frontend architecture and system design capability, including experience with micro-frontend patterns
• Experience optimising application performance and implementing effective state management approaches
• A focus on engineering quality, including automated testing, observability and maintainable code
• Experience with modern CI/CD practices and software delivery approaches
• The ability to collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to solve customer problems
• Curiosity, a growth mindset and an interest in evolving frontend technologies and practices
• An interest in mentoring others, sharing knowledge and contributing to an inclusive engineering culture.

Nice to have:

• Experience with C# and .NET Core
• Exposure to API-driven architectures
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and production operations
