Stage ingénieur : Plateforme d’émulation pour validation de logiciel embarqué (H/F)

Context

The NFC Software team, based in Caen, is responsible for delivering the software components (firmware and middleware) required for the operation of NXP’s NFC solutions.

These components, which are integrated into a large majority of mobile phones and connected devices, enable secure communication for applications such as payment transactions, access management, and secure data exchange. They are deployed on a very large scale worldwide.

To efficiently support these needs, validation tools are developed internally.

Within this context, we are looking for a final-year intern for a 6-month internship.

Your Responsibilities

The intern will be involved in one or more of the following activities:

• Analyzing requirements and proposing technical solutions

• Enhancing the simulation platform to support a new product (embedded software)

• Extending support for new hardware peripherals

• Implementing additional validation and debugging methods, potentially including AI-based approaches

• Automating test benches and integrating them with an automated testing platform (Jenkins)

Your Profile

Education

• Final year of an Engineering School (Master’s level) or Master’s Degree (MSc), specializing in Industrial Computing, Computer Science, or a related field

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Software development knowledge, including software and hardware architectures, C, Python, C#, and validation methodologies

• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work in an international environment

• A genuine passion for software development and the ability to quickly learn and understand new technical topics are key factors for success in this internship.
