We are seeking an experienced State Manager / Operations Manager to lead the Victorian business—driving ** financial performance, operational excellence, and growth** across manufacturing, distribution and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L accountability for the Victorian business
- Lead multi-site manufacturing and distribution operations
- Drive revenue growth, margin improvement and cost control
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies
- Lead, coach and develop Branch Managers and operational leaders
- Improve production efficiency, supply chain performance and service delivery
- Ensure WHS compliance, safety leadership and risk management
- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
- Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting and reporting to Head Office
Skills & Experience
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a State Manager, Operations Manager or General Manager
- Strong background in manufacturing, construction, steel or building materials
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site operations
- Track record of delivering P&L results and business growth
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing large teams
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance sales and operations
- Solid understanding of WHS, compliance and industrial environments
