We are looking for a Static Stress Engineer (m/w/d) with more than 5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join our team in Sevilla.

Candidates should be proficient in the following tasks:

  • 路 Define analysis methodologies and validate FEM models and stress reports
  • Perform static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures using Finite Element Models (FEM)
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior stress engineers
  • Extraction of loads, stresses, generation of spectra and mission file
  • Extraction of material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part & assembly drawings
  • Support design teams by assessing structural modifications, non-conformities and engineering changes
  • Creation of FEMs using geometric data from part & assembly drawings
  • Preparation of stress certification dossiers

Requirements

About you:

  • More than 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry
  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on Specific stress activities
  • Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency

Technical Skills:

  • MSC Nastran
  • Patran/HyperMesh
  • CATIA V5
  • Excel
  • Python/VBA (valuable)
  • Airbus methods and tools highly desirable
