Expected Salary Range: $90,000- $110,000
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms for cutting edge applications
- Collect and analyze large data sets of atmospheric data
- Conduct model sensitivity and validation tests
Qualifications
- PhD in Statistics is preferred, candidates with an MS in Statistics and relevant job experience will also be considered
- Demonstrated experience with ML techniques
- Knowledge of extreme value models, goodness-of-fit test statistics, estimation methods, distribution fitting, and statistical inference
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
