JOB SUMMARY: Structural Project Coordinator will support the daily functions of all phases of a project within the Structural Engineering Department.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage and maintain schedules, appointments and assist with project deliverables.
- Maintain databases and project spreadsheets.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications and presentations as needed.
- Assist with Request for proposals (RFPs)
- Assist with preparation of Project Specifications
- Communicate with Document Control group in reference to project documents.
- Maintain accurate project records.
- Provide administrative support to the Director and Deputy Director of Structural Engineering.
- Communicate with Project Management team in reference to project schedules and deliverables.
- Perform miscellaneous office administration tasks.
- Comply with Company’s Quality Control and Project Management procedures.
- Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a Vestal Corporation office.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Must be able to move about the office to access office equipment and other office buildings within the Vestal office complex.
- This position frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of experience is required.
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Must comply with Vestal Corporations’ core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships among and with employees.
