About this role
This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in participating in a global academic research project. The student will conduct primary research in the context of a global research project on local journalism. The student can work flexible hours with requirements as a remote position, with in-person on campus participation for planning and collaborative portions of the project.

• Demonstrated ability to ask questions and listen attentively with accuracy for detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent English verbal and written skills
• Proficiency in operating a computer with various Microsoft Office applications and videoconferencing software such as Zoom
• Preference given to candidates with related research experience
• A post-secondary degree is an asset but not required
