About this role
ISS International Spa is looking for a Subsea & Topside Control Engineer for an offshore project in the Mediterranean Sea.
Requirements
Candidate will have a university degree in an appropriate Engineering Discipline (Instrument, Electrical, Electronic, Computer preferred) from reputable University. A degree in Mechanical Engineering will be consider with a good experience covering various electrical/electronic systems as well.
It is essential that candidates must have 8 years of progressive subsea controls & systems engineering experience. Significant experience with a subsea control manufacturer/provider is a plus.
Experience detailing/specifying umbilical and SCM & Subsea HIPPS, SRM (Subsea Route Module) components / terminations supporting the control systems.
Technical knowledge and experience in design, installation and procurement for projects including SURF
Well versed in reading and creating P&IDs, PSDs and PFDs.
Previous exposure to various subsea interlock schemes supporting the long-term operation of the subsea systems and the ability to work with the client to develop project specific interlock schemes.
Must be able to understand, interpret and guide detailed design and installation engineering, where such work is performed by other specialist engineers.
