Substance Abuse Counselor - (LCSW-C, LCADA OR LCPC Required)

Smith Staffing Services has Immediate need for the following Contract positions at one of our clients within the Hartford County, Maryland area.

We have long term contract in Bel Air, MD for Substance Abuse Counselor with LCADC, LCSW-C or LCPC. Start immediately!

(Flexible hours up to 40 hours per week, long term contract assignment)

Counselor will

• Provide individual and group counseling
• Perform assessments and intakes
• Perform urinalysis screenings and insurance authorizations.

The main purpose will be to counsel clients that have substance abuse disorder(s) or co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders through individual, group and family counseling sessions.

Counselor will be required to provide individual and group counseling and education services. Counselor must be able to provide casework services and complete comprehensive dependency assessment in timely fashion.

Qualifications

All applicants MUST be fully licensed counselors in the state of MD, i.e. LCADC, LCSW-C’s, and LCPC.

All applicants MUST be able to pass drug screening and background check.
