Position: Substitute Teacher
Division: Lower, Middle and Upper School
Reports to: Principal
Purpose: The Substitute Teacher will report to the division Principal and will provide classroom coverage as assigned when the regular teachers are absent. The substitute teacher must be confident teaching a wide range of material and age groups.
Specific Skills:
- Flexible and willing to adapt to change at short notice.
- Ability to teach day to day assignments while following the plans of the teacher and maintaining classroom order.
- Uses initiative to solve problems when they arise and is willing to make decisions based on the best interest of students.
