Substitute Teacher - day of or as needed

Bay Farm is seeking loving and patient individuals who are able to serve as substitute teachers on an as needed basis. Teachers may call you to arrange for the occasional planned absence or the school may reach out the day of for unplanned absences. There is no set schedule.

Skills in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, and staff are necessary. Montessori-trained teachers or those interested in being trained as Montessori teachers are encouraged to apply. Montessori experience is not required, but experience working with children is necessary. Previous substitute teaching experience is preferred.

Bay Farm Montessori Academy is a private Montessori school located in Duxbury, MA that serves children ages 12 months in our Toddler House through grade 6 in our Elementary II program. We strive to provide education inspired by joy, purpose, and compassion.

Pay: $22.00

Requirements:

- Prior experience in an educational environment preferred;

- Prior substituting experience preferred;

- Must be willing to undergo fingerprint/background check per school regulatory requirements;

- Must have or be willing to complete (paid by school) CPR/First Aid training;
