We welcome applications from law students from 3rd year onwards. We assess all applications on more than just academic achievements as we want to get to know the person to find out what sets you apart from other candidates.
If you are in 3rd or 4th year and would like to join us as an intern for June / July 2027, the closing date for applications is 30th November 2026.
The role will include the following work:
Interns have the opportunity to get involved in interesting and challenging work, receiving practical “on-the-job” training including attending meetings with clients, completing first drafts of transaction documents and consistently interacting with a partner team on files.
Throughout the programme, our interns participate in a range of activities which include:
- Team sessions with each practice area giving them insight into the team breakdown and types of work
- Visiting our Galway office
- Information meetings with their trainee ‘buddies’ to learn more about FE1 exams and Blackhall
- Completing a group presentation
- Dinner with their ‘buddies’
