Program Details

May 31st - July 30th 2027

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

$15 per hour

On-site at our Fort Wayne, Indiana headquarters. 

Other on-site offices: Naperville, IL; Orlando, FL; Chicago, IL; Tinley Park, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Toledo, OH; Whiteland, IN; Brownsburg, IN

Only EIGHT interns will be selected for the Class of 2027.

 

Earn Your Way Through the Business

Interns rotate through four core departments:

Track & Trace

Learn the foundation of freight movement

Manage active shipments

Communicate with carriers

Solve problems in real time

Carrier Sales

Build carrier relationships

Negotiate rates

Understand margin strategy

Develop confidence on live calls

Inside Sales

Prospect new business

Make outbound calls

Handle objections

Create opportunity

Account Management

Build and maintain customer relationships

Manage day-to-day customer needs

Coordinate shipments and solve issues

Identify opportunities to grow accounts

Communicate with customers and internal teams

 

You will work alongside experienced team members first - then step into the driver’s seat yourself.

Bi-Weekly Freight Forum

Every two weeks, interns participate in a Freight Forum introducing broader aspects of the transportation industry.

You will gain perspective beyond your daily role and understand how the industry operates at a high level.

Full-Time Opportunity

Circle Logistics is prepared and interested in hiring high-performing interns into full-time roles following graduation.

This internship serves as a direct pathway into positions such as Carrier Sales Representative and Inside Sales Representative.

 

Eligibility

• Rising juniors & seniors preferred, sophomores considered
• Available full-time May 31 - July 30, 2027 - 8a - 5p
• Able to work on-site
