Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and eager Interns to join our team for a 3-month internship program. This position is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in heavy civil construction and site development. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, learning about project management, field operations, and the business of site development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project teams with daily field operations, including site preparation, grading, utilities, and project layout.
- Support the Preconstruction and Field Management teams with estimating, takeoffs, and project documentation.
- Participate in jobsite safety meetings and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collect and organize project data such as daily reports, equipment logs, and material tracking.
- Shadow experienced operators, foremen, and superintendents to learn various aspects of sitework.
- Provide general administrative and field support as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or technical training in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Heavy Equipment Operations, or related field.
- Strong interest in site development, construction, and heavy equipment.
- Reliable transportation to and from Ravenel, SC, job sites.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) preferred.
