Fortune 500 Company in Morris County NJ is hiring! Seeking Accounting Supervisor to join the team.

SUPERVISING SENIOR ACCOUNTANT 70K-80K + Bonus

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervising Senior Accountant who will be responsible for day-to-day General Ledger Accounting in SAP and financial reporting for a fast growing international organization. This is a hands-on position that requires solid understanding of accounting policies, procedures and skills. Excellent opportunity for an accounting professional that is looking to get management experience.

Duties:

- Conduct monthly closing activities to ensure proper and timely financial reporting

-Assist in Financial Reporting

-Monthly reconciliation of inter-company accounts

-Participate in external and internal audits

-Various account reconciliations, maintenance and analysis

-Analyze accruals
-Monitor and analyze A/R & A/P on a daily basis

-Review, develop and propose internal policies and procedures

-Supervise 1 staff accountant and 1 A/P clerk.

Qualifications

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of general accounting experience.

Degree in Accounting required.

Exposure to management preferred (i.e.: mentoring junior staff or interns etc).

Comfortable with PC’s and MS Excel, Oracle exp. a big plus.

Additional Information

$70K to $80K

+ Bonus
