Liquid Personnel are proud to be working with an independent fostering agency to recruit a passionate and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their fostering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support foster carers and contribute to high-quality placements that help children and young people thrive.

Your benefits as a Supervising Social Worker:

  • Salary between £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

As the Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Recruit, assess, and supervise foster carers to ensure safe, nurturing placements
  • Provide regular supervision and support visits to foster families
  • Contribute to annual reviews and ensure compliance with fostering standards
  • Deliver and support training including ‘Skills to Foster’
  • Attend professional meetings and support carers in care planning
  • Maintain accurate case recordings and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Promote the agency’s services and contribute to business development

Essential requirements of this Supervising Social Worker role:

  • Registration as a Social Worker with Social Work England
  • CQSW, Diploma in Social Work, or BA in Social Work
  • Experience working with children and families
  • Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding, and care planning
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
