Supervisor, Digital Innovation and AI Delivery

Technical and portfolio leadership position, with no direct reports at this time.

About this position

InnovaCell is Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Corporate Strategy and Digital Innovation team for Latin America. Our portfolio includes data and artificial intelligence solutions in production: executive dashboards that support regional decision-making, AI agents used by senior leaders, daily pipelines in Databricks, and the AI enablement plan for the entire region.

The team is growing, and we are looking for the person who will structure how we deliver. We are not only looking for someone who builds: we are looking for someone who organizes, prioritizes, navigates across functions and executives, and ensures that a portfolio of more than 13 initiatives moves forward in parallel, with a structured approach and without relying on heroics.

What you will achieve in your first 12 months

• Consolidate the portfolio management model in Jira, with planning and refinement rituals operating autonomously.
• Take AI initiatives from design through production, integrated with corporate systems.
• Become the reference point for portfolio status: any leader in the region should know where each initiative stands because your structure makes it visible.
• Become a recognized point of contact for business functions, independently leading conversations around priorities and scope.

Your day-to-day

• Organize and structure: portfolio, Jira, rituals, documentation, and status visibility. This is the essence of the role.
• Connect: serve as the direct interface with stakeholders across Marketing, HR, IT, and global teams. Present progress to leadership and negotiate priorities and scope.
• Build: develop data and AI solutions with high-quality, version-controlled code that is sustainable in production.
• Elevate: share technical standards with the team and support the development of more junior team members.

What we are looking for

• Proven organizational skills: experience managing multiple workstreams in parallel using your own structured approach. We will ask for real examples.
• Stakeholder management and executive communication: experience presenting to leadership, negotiating priorities and scope with business functions, and maintaining long-term relationships with internal clients.
• Solid engineering foundation: software development experience with code running in production, not only analysis or notebooks.
• Agility applied in practice: backlog management, prioritization, and cadence.
• Senior-level autonomy: ability to structure your own work from the first week.
• Fluent Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Spanish and English. Databricks, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power BI. Experience with LLM-based solutions and API integrations. Experience in multinational and matrixed environments. Experience supporting data products in continuous operation
